Legislation is being lobbied
for every employee on a job with a cost greater than $ 100,000 or Davis-
Bacon work, which will require everyone to have a OSHA 10 hour
construction outreach certification in the state of Conneticut. More and
more general contrctors across the country reqire this to get on job
sites. Some contractors are requiring an OSHA 30 hour certification for
the foremen.
Some of the above mentioned program will be run during
apprentice training nights. The facilities are open weekly from Monday
thru Thursday 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Please call the training center closest
to you for more information. Do not forget that the training center's are
for jorneyman too, not just apprentices. Don't wait until last minute for
the you require.
